Wabi-sabi bookmaking with Zoe Blair

Please join us for 3 days of wabi-sabi bookmaking, where we will explore making paper, binding, collaging and designing a bespoke journal of our own, using natural ephemera. 

Wabi-sabi is an ancient Japanese philosophy that ascribes beauty to imperfection and impermanence. The papermaking, book binding and collage methods used in this workshop will celebrate wabi-sabi as catharsis for craft. Class culminates with a complete handmade book to take home, and a short show and tell of books.
